How to delete an account on Xiaomi or Mi

I have created two accounts, one via mobile number as username  and another via Facebook login. Now, I can not used my mobile number on in-use Mi account, as it is saying "The number already used by other user". So, I want to delete my old account.

In fact, Xiaomi / Mi never shown account deletion link explicitly. Rather you have to follow one secret link, which can drive toward deletion of an account. Let's follow the below steps,

1. Visit https://account.xiaomi.com/pass/del
2. Select Yes, I want to permanently delete my Mi Account. But remind following thing will be permanently deleted,
   1. All content associated with your account
   2. Mi Credits that you've purchased but haven't spent
   3. Photos and contacts you've synced with Mi Cloud.
   4. Themes you've purchased in the MIUI Theme Store.
   5. In-app purchases associated with this account.
   6. Mi.com purchase history.
3. Once confirmed, Click on Delete Button
4. Then you will ask to verify either email id or mobile number.
5. Once you verify, next you will ask to reconfirm the delete procedure. If agree, then click on Delete account button.
6. Done..! You will now be shown a success message.
