How to type / shortcut-key Rupee ₹ Symbol

I want to type ₹, but not found any easy method. Earlier I have used insert symbol method, copy-paste method, but they are very time consuming for big works.

Just press Right Alt Key + 4 key. If you get $ sign then you might be pressing shift + 4 key combination or you have not set India as a region in Control Panel or Indian Keyboard in Control Panel > Language.
